π Cute names, NYC Slice and Clever Code
Hello there!
Happy New Year!
It's been a while, welcome to this year's first issue. So much has happened already and I'm looking forward to everything 2023 will bring my way :)
In case you missed it, I was mostly off-the-grid in December: I got to meet my buddies, and also participated in Advent of Code! This year I lasted longer (Day 13 π«‘) than I ever have before, and I did it all in Elixir!! I absolutely loved doing it and learnt so much. Check out my solutions.
I spent last week playing around with Cloudflare Workers' Durable Objectsβit's a pretty cool lil' thing. I built a live viewers counter for my website but ultimately didn't merge it because it requires a paid subscription from Cloudflare. π It was a good experience working with it though! You can check it out in this merge request.
Onwards with this year! π

Names should be cute, not descriptive "The world is boring enough as is. Let's add more whimsy and cuteness through our service and project names."

Functional programming is finally going mainstream Can you tell I've been in love with Elixir recently??
